Our client European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) is looking for an ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT for a fixed term employment relationship. The position is starting 01/04/2019 and will continue until 30/06/2019. The work environment is very international and youthful and the office is located in Helsinki city center. 

General description:

The jobholder will support C1 staff in updating the CLH database with the translated names for all EU languages for substances in Annex VI of the CLP regulation. In parallel it will conduct quality checks on the data. Support to current administrative/secretarial tasks of the unit can also be required (not more than 30 % of the available time).

Duties:

- Contribute to the update of Annex VI of the CLP regulation (CLH data) in ECHA’s IT systems (Classlab and the C&L inventory)
- Contribute to quality check CLH data in ECHA’s IT systems (Classlab and the C&L inventory)
- Assist other staff members in administrative/secretarial tasks as needed.

Requirements:

- Education: post-secondary or university degree ;
- Professional experience: Previous professional experience is not required but would be an added value.    
- Ability to take responsibility for specific areas of work and see actions through to completion ensuring that the deadlines are met;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel);
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Aptitude for team work as well as cooperative and customer-oriented attitude;
- Good English skills both written and spoken (as this is the working language of the Agency).
