Global Product Manager at Biolin Scientific

Biolin Scientific is looking for a Global Product Manager responsible for two of our brands within surface science instruments. The Global Product Manager is responsible for defined products within the specific area including implementation of the marketing plan, portfolio roadmap, life-cycle management, and support to our distributor network to drive business development and execution.

You will be part of the Global Marketing Team where half of the team is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, and second half in Espoo, Finland. This specific position is a full-time permanent position based at the Biolin Scientific office in Espoo, Finland and you will report to the Director of Marketing & Product Management that is based in the Swedish office. You will have a direct report of an Application & Product Engineer. International travel will be required.

You will be an important person in our Marketing Team and work cross-functional together with R&D and Sales to deliver on commitment to drive the business.

To be successful in the role you need a commercial mindset and manage the portfolio assortment including custom requests to maximize profitability and sales. You will also lead and drive product launches with Sales & Distributors with both pre-, and post launch activities. You will be responsible for the marketing communication and application areas to secure an efficient marketing mix and Inbound Marketing together with your colleagues in the Marketing team.

Educational level

University degree in Business or Engineering.

Essential requirements

- At least 5 years' experience in sales & marketing, preferably within a global role in the Lab industry or Life Science
- Structured with good planning skills to be able to coordinate many tasks and activities at the same time
- Commercial mindset and Business acumen
- Strong team player
- Flexible with a solid can-do attitude
- Able to travel
- Fluent in English

Preferable skills

- Experience in Digital marketing and preferable Inbound Marketing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer centric and can easily establish and maintain good relationships
- Informal leadership skills and ability to work well in a cross-functional environment
- Quick technical learner
