Savox Communications manufactures professional electronic communications equipment and hearing protectors. A significant part of products is intrinsically safe and approved for use in Explosive /Hazardous atmospheres in Europe and North America.
Our products are sold globally, predominantly EU, UK, US / Canada, Asia. Savox also develops and manufactures products for customers under their own brand.
We are now looking for a junior compliance manager to strengthen the Compliance Team.
Compliance Team handles:
- product regulatory approvals, certifications, qualifications and reporting (EMC, wireless, safety, ATEX /IECEx / UL 913, WEEE, RoHS, REACh, Conflict Minerals)
- planning and implementing official tests
- supporting and training other departments in compliance related issues
- monitors regulatory development
- responds to customer and authorities' inquiries related to products' compliance
- participates in audits by certification agencies, customers and suppliers
Main tasks:
- support engineering teams in Finland in interpreting compliance requirements into designs and documentation requirements
- support engineering teams in Finland in documentation preparation for third party certification submission
- be a contact point for certification & testing agencies
- transfer documentation into PDM system
- review and verify product structures in PDM system
- research on regulatory requirements for products
- archive and review certificates and compliance documentation
General competences:
- appropriate technical degree is a plus
- basic knowledge of standards & regulations and product approval (experience with product regulatory and quality approvals and certifications is a benefit)
- ability to interpret technical, quality and testing standards
- ability to present information clearly in written and oral form
- analytical and systematic team player with an independent and proactive working style
- software skills: experienced user of MS Office package (PDM and ERP skills are a benefit)
- language skills: fluent written and spoken English
