Valmet Automotive Oy is a technology group offering automotive services. The company owns the only car factory in Finland in Uusikaupunki and the battery factories in Salo and Uusikaupunki.

We are currently looking for logistics workers and production workers on a permanent basis at Valmet Automotive's Salo battery plant.
Logistics worker
Your tasks include a wide range of logistics tasks (including material shelving, cleaning, order processing, material and finished product quality control, handling empty packaging equipment and correct deviation reporting) and you can get around several different workstations during the working day and use various forklifts.
Production worker
In this role, you act as a material distributor. Your job is to go through the production line and ensure the adequacy of the production material as a whole. You monitor the consumption of material and order the required material from stock and replenish the ordered material at production points. You are also responsible for moving finished products and empty packaging equipment to logistics. The work is mobile and versatile, and you use a variety of forklifts and lifts to help you with your work.
In these tasks, attitude matters, so you don't need previous experience. You will receive a full introduction to the task!
We wish you a good attitude, initiative, and a quality-conscious mindset. The quality of the products is important and because of this we are looking for people who are capable of special care and precision even in fast-paced work. The work image is active, due to which good physical condition is an advantage in performing the task. The task requires fluent Finnish or English language skills. The factory doesn't stop even at night, so the work is done in three shifts. The work follows the technology industry collective agreement. The employment contract is concluded directly with Valmet Automotive.
