We are looking for an Electrical Chief Design Engineer (eCDE) to join Electricity & Automation team. As an eCDE you lead and coordinate control system design for fired boiler and waste heat recovery boiler systems supplied for Power, Offshore and Cruise applications all over the world.
The work
As an eCDE you are responsible for the control system (hardware & software) design and implementation process for the projects you own. Your duty is to ensure that the project's electrical design meets the customer requirements, and you act as main contact person for customer in electrical related issues. You work closely with Electricity & Automation manager and coordinate electrical matters in the project together with project organization - including sales, project management, process/project engineering, automation engineers and electrical engineers.
You
- To succeed in this position, you have 5-10 years' experience in circuit diagram design for LV (<1kV) control cabinets and switchgears for industrial applications.
- You have good technical competence and experience in control system deliveries for international projects.
- Experience in control system hands-on testing and commissioning.
- Knowledge in process industry is considered an advantage.
- You have good negotiation skills and ability to make decisions.
- You are cooperative team player and able to communicate in fluent Finnish and English.
- You have systematic working style and solution finding ability and you are willing to develop your daily work.
- You have ability to structure and organize your work and a commitment to deliver agreed results.
- Applicable electrical education (M.Sc./B.Sc.)
