We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to join Metso Outotec's Filters Procurement and Planning Team in Lappeenranta. The assignment is fixed term until the end of August 2023.
Metso Outotec manufactures filters for mining and industrial applications with high-quality and safe and efficient manner. The site is located just next to city of Lappeenranta, beside the lake of Lake Saimaa and can be reached by the public transportation.
As Procurement Specialist, you will:
Be responsible for supplier quality, On-time deliveries, cost-competitiveness, inventory value and continuous improvement
Prepare the project specific purchasing documentation and negotiations
Take care of open purchase order management
Handle purchase invoices
Take care of supplier co-operation
Maintain purchasing related items and supplier data in ERP system
Contribute to supplier nomination and auditing
Contribute to the success of the organization by aligning and engaging with other functions and stakeholders
To succeed, you will need:
B.Eng. degree or working experience in suitable field
Positive mindset and passion to learn new
SAP experience considered as an advantage
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Excellent personal time management and organization skills
Understanding of global supply chain
Good written and spoken English and Finnish, other languages are an advantage
