We are looking for a TECHNICAL PRODUCT COST ENGINEER / CONTROLLER to a permanent position to our Vantaa office.
Our Finance and Controlling team is looking for a new colleague to form the interface between commercial and technical aspects of the products and provide valuable data for pricing and project cost analysis. In this role you will work in a close co-operation with the specialists in other related functions to ensure and improve data quality in product costs and pricing. We expect you to have courage and the ability to challenge different stakeholder groups and advise related functions about costs and savings/deviations. Important stakeholders are product team, sales team, procurement, project team, engineering, production, quality, controlling, finance.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Produce reliable product / project cost analysis for decision making in Sales and Product team
- Improve understanding of product costs and profitability in the organization
- Collect and prepare the data and organize the regular cost updates to our quotation system
- Develop tools for calculations and improve the usage of information in different tools by digitalization and automatization
- Informing and providing internal training of product costs and tools used in cost analysis and cost update process for relevant persons
- Participate in the group level development projects in your area
- Close co-operation with relevant counterparts in whole Rosendahl Nextrom Group (Austria and Romania)
- Substituting of Sales System Administrator
We are looking for a person with suitable technical or financial education. You have min 3 years' experience in cost calculations, ideally from technology or manufacturing industry. As personal characteristics you are systematic and exact, independent, co-operative, and have analytical attitude and ability to understand structures and see the big picture. You have organized working style and desire to work with numbers and people. Your IT skills are good, and you understand costs and profitability. To succeed in this role, you need to have good written and spoken communication skills in English and Finnish. SAP knowledge, experience of project business and international working environment are considered as a benefit for you. Amount of travelling in this role is 0-25%,
