We are looking for a Chemical Logistics Operator to our international technology company client for an 18 months project via ManpowerGroup. During this period your employment contract will be permanent.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Logistics, loading / unloading task of laboratory chemicals in small and medium quantities (up to 200 L drums)
- Operation, control and service of chemical supply and waste collection equipment
- Chemical storage operation
- Gas inventory
- Maintain personal protective equipment
- Update chemical and chemical safety related documents
- Operation, inspection of manual lifting tools
- Participate in safety meetings, risk assessments
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience of chemical and/or gas handling tasks
- Hands on experience with equipment using chemicals
- Chemical safety
- Hands on experience with equipment using chemicals
- Good physical condition is needed since handling heavy equipment
- Good oral & written communication & teamwork skills in English
Normal office hours with flexibility. Typical daily tasks include 70% of laboratory work and 30 % of office work.
