We are currently mapping out potential candidates for an upcoming LOOP TEST ENGINEER opportunity expected to start early 2026!
Our client in Rauma is a global industrial company, and has a project in preparation, and if confirmed, the position will begin in January 2026. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a technically advanced and safety-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, execute and monitor test loops for complex systems - including water and pressure testing
- Preparation in system commissioning
- Analyze system behavior: Is the pump working? Are valves tight? Are pressure levels stable?
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure test accuracy and safety
- Document and continuously improve testing procedures
We're especially interested in candidates who:
- Have experience with process components - pumps, valves, instrumentation, flow and pressure systems
- Understand system requirements and how different components interact
- Have worked in environments like power plants, gas, or nuclear industries
- Are familiar with commissioning, instrumentation, and control systems
- Have a background in mechanical, component engineering, or process engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Good communication skills in English; Finnish is an asset

Additional information:
- Location: Rauma, Finland - office-based role (hybrid work model may be possible after onboarding period)
- Full work hours week with flexible working schedule
- Fixed-term employment for approximately 2 to 2.5 years
- Possibility for permanent recruitment (and relocation within Europe) after fixed-term period
- Compensation based on experience, following the Finnish Technology Industry collective agreement for senior salaried employees
- Expected start date: January 2026
For a couple of candidates, a permanent Team Leader position may also be available.
