Aker Arctic is a private company specializing in the development, design, engineering, consulting, and delivery of special products and testing services for ice-going vessels and marine structures. We take pride in offering our customers expert Arctic knowledge and cost-effective solutions.

Strong and reliable propulsion systems are essential to ensure the safety of vessels and their crews when operating in remote regions. At the same time, these systems must also be efficient and quiet. Balancing these seemingly contradictory requirements is challenging due to the wide range of design conditions caused by propeller-ice interactions. Aker Arctic's propulsion package solutions are designed to deliver high-quality performance throughout the vessel's lifetime.

Aker Arctic provides comprehensive engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning services. These flexible solutions are tailored to meet specific customer needs and include engineering calculations and drawings for full classification society approval, as well as installation documentation for equipment mounting. Our main products are shaftline equipment (including propellers), air bubbling and bow flushing systems and ice load monitoring system.

As our Equipment Business expands, we are looking for a Project Manager to oversee our project execution activities and operations.
