Rosendahl Nextrom Oy is looking for AN EXPERIENCED LEAD AUTOMATION ENGINEER to our office in Vantaa. As a Lead Automation Engineer, you will implement, modify, and maintain control software of machines / production lines and incorporate new features and technologies into existing products. Your position will be modified based on your experience.
As a Lead Automation Engineer your main responsibilities are to lead, execute, and coordinate automation software development projects (no direct subordinates). You also have technical leadership responsibility for automation software, and to translate automation software requirements for detail engineering. As a Lead Automation Engineer you follow up automation technology development and standardization, maintain software libraries and documentation. As an experienced Lead Automation Engineer, you can be the right hand for the automation team manager and support to develop and maintain work procedures.
Requirements to succeed in the role:
- Degree in automation engineering (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
- Over 8 years' experience of automation software engineering
- Fluent co-operation with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical and process)
- Ability to take responsibility and willingness to grow in own role
- Good communication skills (oral and in writing) in English, knowledge of the Finnish language is considered a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel
You should have experience with:
- Automation solutions (HW/SW): PLC, HMI/SCADA, drives, safety-automation, factory interfaces and databases.
- PLC Control systems: (Siemens S7(-F), Classic/TIA Portal, Allen Bradley)
- HMI systems: (Wonderware, In Touch, Win CC)
