SITE MANAGER
to work on site in Turku shipyard, Finland.
As Site Manager you will represent Evac working closely with key personnel from customer side and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. As a member of the Evac Finland Project Execution Team you'll have the rest of the team at the Evac Finland main office in Espoo. You will work closely with Evac Project and Product Management to achieve a successful delivery of the project scope: monitor and report project delivery and installation status, participate in project meetings in design, building, commissioning and lessons learned phases, arrange installation and/or commissioning of Evac scope equipment including resource planning, organizing site permits and crew training.
You will also participate in sea trials and Harbor Acceptance Tests, report, supervise the site teams etc., so this job is a real possible for socially fluent team player and technical person enjoyed working in very cooperating role. You are carrying responsibilities locally very independently, so you are not afraid of high stress situations and demanding schedules either.
In this role the point is not that you are a senior talent of technics; you can be at the beginning of your career with excellent personal skills for co-operating with people and handle many projects at the same time.
We expect that you
- have a technical capacity and background to learn about Evac products, processes and organization
- have a degree or working experience in mechanical-/marine engineering, automation, electric design or a related field
- communicate in multinational teams and share information efficiently
- have fluent command of both verbal and written Finnish and English as well as a good technical vocabulary
- excel at problem solving and have a proactive attitude
It is seen as an advantage if you have prior background in the marine business or have previously worked at shipyards or on board vessels.
